The Columbus Dispatch is reporting a possible home and away series between Alabama and Ohio State that would begin about a decade down the road. They were initially discussing a neutral site game in the near future, but have decided to pursue talks on a home and away series. I'll be interested to hear the thoughts of fellow SB Nation blogger Around the Oval on this possible match up.

Alabama holds a 3-0 record against Ohio State:

• 1978 Sugar Bowl: 35-6
  
• 1986 Kickoff Classic: 16-10
  
• 1995 Citrus Bowl: 24-17

It'll be epic if they can work this series out. These two definately need to meet on each other's turf. This is fantastic news and would make a great addition to the big games Alabama has lined up in the future:

• 2006: Florida State @ Jacksonville, FL (neutral site)
• 2010: Penn State
• 2011: at Penn State
• 2012: Georgia Tech
• 2014: at Georgia Tech
