I Guess Some Hawai'i Players Don't Like Our Fans

Hawai'i performed a haka before the Alabama game on Saturday. They did it in the endzone facing the part of the stadium that is where the fraternities and sororities sit (though I'm sure they didn't know that.) As you can see in this video (performed by the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team), there is quite a bit of forearm slapping involved in a haka. The Hawai'i players got that part right, but it looks like two or three of them are having a tough time keeping that middle finger down. Some fans on SportsHawaii.com think they might not be flipping our fans off and that the photo is out of context. Oh well, they left Tuscaloosa 0-1 and that's all that really matters.

I don't think...
From everything I read beforehand, they didn't want to do it facing Alabama's team because that would've been incredibly poorly received, so they waited until Alabama was off the field after warm ups and did it towards the student section. They can't help what song was playing.
If anything, I think it was stupid to do because it was going to elicit a bad reaction no matter what...and they didn't do it facing their opponent, which is kind of the point.
There were some boos...

Here's where you can check your picks:
