We gained more yards, per play, on average. We had more passing yards. We had more rushing yards. We averaged more rushing yards per play. We had fewer penalties. We had fewer penalty yards. We had fewer punts. We had longer punts. We gave up fewer sacks.

And we lost.

OTS, I know you have answered this before, but now with a loss to MSU, how do you see this team affecting the recruiting class, and specifically recruits such as Julio Jones and Star Jackson?

No real effect

The loss to MSU is highly unlikely to have any real tangible effect on recruiting. If anything, it likely only improves recruiting because it shows that you can easily get playing time early.

And for quarterbacks, those guys must be knocking down our door. Star Jackson, on some level, has to be salivating at this. Rest assured he's not expecting to redshirt next year.
