Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Saban's press conference today

Just listened to Saban's press conference from today and it was great. He revealed some of the problems on this team. It is obvious there are character issues on this team. The last 4 yrs of losing close games are caused by a lack of resolve to do the right things. Even though I am disappointed in the season I know Saban is the right man because he will not accept less than the best from the players. Instead of hugging them when they don't put out the effort needed he will chew them out and not make excuses and tell us how close we are. Alabama is not close but I think we will turn the corner.

FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

ESPN...
... was apparently pissed about him making an analogy to 9-11. I thought college grads were supposed to be able read analogys and not think he was saying that losing to ULM is as bad as a terrorist attack.

Also does anyone know what he was referring to when he ranted about 'doing it the right way'

I assume that he was talking about why he say D.J. Hall half the game, but then again maybe it had to do with recruiting and boosters.

Cause bama's pluck and gritt has writ her name in crimson flame.

Why...
is everyone making such a big deal out of what he said?  If this were anyone else with a different salary at a different university, it would be looked over.  Why has ESPN and other sport sources almost always criticized bama?  Its ridiculous.

bama
You have to be joking about your comment about being picked on, Saban should had never used the reference to the tragic events. He needs to look in the mirror and evalute who he is< the past two years he has made very poor choices in terms of handling the press. His players will act like their leader, period!
