Early A.M. Randomness

It's late. I need to go to sleep. Regardless, have some links for now.

There's a new(ish) Bama blog up and running called Eight in the Box and you should check it out.

I'm pretty sure Soulive dropped a few "Roll Tides" at their show at WorkPlay on Saturday night. At least that's what it sounded like to me. Don't you love how bands always mention Alabama and not Auburn when they come to Birmingham? Old Crow Medicine Show and Robert Randolph have also recently name checked the Tide.

Alan Evans has a huge 'fro!

Sunday Morning QB has some interesting statistical recruiting stuff up. Alabama is mentioned semi-frequently near the bottom of the story.

Card Chronicle's Super Bowl (or should I call it the Professional American Football Title Game for fear of a lawsuit?) summary is good stuff (and accurate.)

Doug speaks his mind about Boston and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

I really like this TV On the Radio song:

Don't laugh...
...but I went to a Shania Twain concert (the tickets were free, she's hot, what can I say?) and she came out for the encore wearing a #12 Alabama jersey.  Naturally half the arena was Auburn fans and they booed her the entire encore.  She seemed confused by it...
