Wednesday AM Links and Such
The gymnastics team will compete in the afternoon session of the prelimary day of competition at the NCAA Championships. Things will get under way Thursday, April 26th at 2pm CST. SEC opponenets Florida and UGA, ranked 1 and 2 respectively, will join the third ranked Tide, as well as season opener Oklahoma. Wait, does that mean the SEC holds the top 3 spots in the country? Hell yeah it does! S-E-C! S-E-C!
Congratulations to the Women's basketball team for landing four players on the SEC Academic Team. At least now we know why they finished the season with 15 straight losses: they were busy studying!
We're #2! We're #2! Of course, the Vols (boo! hiss!) still hold the top spot, so screw them.
The 3rd ranked Men's golf team is aiming for an SEC title, a feat accomplished by only the 1979 Tide team, as they head to Sea Island, GA for the SEC Championship tournament on Friday.
Remember how I was all "dude, Arkansas fans are way crazier than we are!" Turns out it was the QB.
I haven't heard them, but Peter is all about the band Moving Matters, and wants you to help send them to Minnesota. So if you've got a quick second and just want to be nice, go send an e-mail and help make their dreams come true.
The Booth had a cheeky final message for Tuscaloosa.
What do The Pussycat Dolls and tOSU fans have in common? They're terrible spellers.
Dude, what the crap is wrong with Brian? He's ragging on my crack NCAA!

Speaking of Arkansas
"You May Have Noticed"
You may have noticed
that March of this year was particularly hot.
As a matter of fact, I understand that it was the hottest March since the beginning of the last century.
All of the trees
were fully leafed out
and legions of bugs
and snakes were crawling
around during a time in Arkansas
when, on a normal year, we might see a snowflake or two.
This should come as no surprise to any reasonable person.
As you know,
Daylight
Saving
Time
started almost a month early this year.
You would think that members of Congress would have considered
the warming effect
that an extra hour of daylight
would have on our climate.
Or did they?
Perhaps this is another plot by a
liberal Congress
to make us believe that global warming is a real threat.
Perhaps next time
there should be serious studies performed
before Congress passes laws
with such
far-reaching effects.
Awesome Todd
Appreciate it!
