Bama's Salem Named SEC Player of the Week

Salem capped a stellar home career with a solid weekend against the sixth-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks this weekend in Tuscaloosa. Salem batted .533 (8-for-15) in the series win with one home run and three RBI. He also scored three runs and added one double and one stolen base.
Salem was 2-for-5 with one RBI in Bama's 10-0 blowout win in the series opener. He went 2-for-5 and scored one run in game two of the series. Salem was 4-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI in the series-clinching win, including a two-run home run in the sixth inning that gave Alabama a 6-4 lead that it never relinquished.
