I know I'm not the only one that's gonna miss Kines, the only member of the former staff that seemed to know what he was doing, this season.

Last year I saw some You Tube video of our spring practices (how things have changed Thank God!) and after an offsides I see ol Kines walking toward the field and the WHOLE team just started pumping the ground! Easily the most intimidating coach since Bear and Stallings on the sidelines. Too bad he couldn't pull off the bowl game but you could tell he had fun and the Ref's didn't :)

P.S. At least he got our TD call reversed without some BS replay to help..a real coach glad he stayed around just for PR. Maybe Saban will let him chew some tail if he gets tired sometime during fall practice.

It could be worse you could be a Tennessee fan.

When Saban was hired...

...I knew Kines was out at DC, but I was kind of hoping he'd at least stick around as a linebackers coach or something, if only so we could get more soundbites out of him.

KINES..

was the reason we won games during clubshula's tenure. Kines D played sound football. He got the most out of the players he had, can't say that for the other coaches on the staff.
