4,000 Mountaineer faithful descended on Michigan Stadium and came out with easily the biggest college football upset in my lifetime. I couldn't be more proud of those players and the coaches. Absolutely flawless football in the first half (I mean FLAWLESS) and enough to hold on at the end, including of course the final drive with 1:11 to go up 2, and the subsequent block to win the game.

Needless to say I spent the rest of the day just glowing, and was cheering just as hard at the tiny tv i found with our Crimson Tide slamming Western - a team which just so happens to be Appalachian State's primary rival.

What a way to start off the college football season...
