...and the 2007 Offensive MVP as selected by, well, you, is DJ Hall:

Full disclosure, I voted for Hall, which might seem strange considering the consistent hell we've given him this season, but when it comes down to it, the kid is a player and is the most consistent and versatile playmaker we have on offense, sometimes stretching the field as a downfield threat, other times playing the role of sure-handed possession receiver, and always drawing plenty of attention from opposing defenses. Attitude issues aside, he's the best receiver to ever wear the Crimson and White, and was the Alabama offense this season.

Let's remember the good times.

While I agree that D.J. Hall...

...is probably this past season's offensive MVP, I'm gonna have to disagree with your proclamation that he's "the best receiver ever to wear the Crimson and White". I just can't place him above Hutson and Newsome. I can't imagine what those guys - especially Newsome - might have accomplished in a modern offensive scheme.

Todd is right...

Neither Hutson or Newsome were wide receivers. Hutson played end in the Notre Dame Box, and Newsome was technically listed as a split end, and was actually more similar to what we would think of a tight end these days.

Either way, neither were wide receivers.

D.J. Hall is the best wide receiver we've ever had.
