Everything is the RBR Friday Random Ten...
...in it's own way. Y'all should know how to play by now: Put your iPod/Zune/Whatever on shuffle and list the first ten songs that come up. No cheating to make yours look cooler, which is why I left the maudlin, cringe inducing "Everything is Beautiful" in instead of changing it to any other number of hilarious Ray Stevens classics:
Y'all leave your random tens in the comments section below, and we'll be taking volunteers for next week's "Guest Random Ten" so let us know if you're interested.
- The Lemonheads - December
- Galactic - Vilified
- Bruce Springsteen - Brothers Under the Bridge
- Cream - Sleepy Time Time
- Neko Case - In California
- Merle Haggard - Put Me In Your Pocket
- Ray Stevens - Everything is Beautiful
- Freightwhaler - Picture of Jesus on the Dashboard
- R.L. Burnside - Boogie Chillen'
- Lilly Brothers - There'll Come a Time

Ten for a Bye Week
Annie Waits – Ben Folds
Darkness on the Edge of Town – Bruce Springsteen
A Few Words in Defense of Our Country – Randy Newman
Turpentine- Brandi Carlisle
Torture – King Khan and the Shrines
New Year’s Day – U2
Father Figure – George Michael
Bros – Panda Bear
Peace Beneath the City – Iron & Wine
Scarlet Fever – Kenny Rogers
Not bad. Only one song that makes me cringe. If you haven’t heard the Newman song, find the lyrics and read them. The lines about Scalia and Alito crack me up. And King Khan is one of the best things to come out this year. He’s a maniac.
