Auburn's stupid...

WVU couldn’t stop their power running game in the first half. In the second half they kept running east-west with Tate and then getting in third and longs where Burns was trying to scramble for 1st downs anyway. That 20 play drive in the first half kept WVU’s offense off the field for almost the entire first quarter. They should’ve just kept lining up and pounding them all game, even if they would’ve gone three and out a couple of times. Their defense gets tired because the offense never does anything. I think one of the biggest reasons they’ve had so many injuries on defense is because those guys are on the field the whole damn game. The reason WVU has blown people out late the last few years is because they play ball control and then the other team gets tired and tackles poorly, which is exactly why Auburn gave up those explosive plays in the second half.

AU

must be watching game tape of us already, no points in the second half. Maybe they need to be reminded that you need a minimum of 20pts+ lead going into half to do that.

That last TD run...

…by Devine was just sad. It was like the parting of the red (blue/orange) sea. And when I say sad, I mean hahahahahahahahahahahahaha…sad.

I

think the TD WVU scored to go up 27-17 was the worst. AU’s safety (sorry I don’t really know names) gave the guy a hug in the middle of the field. I thought that was a nice gesture. What better way to show graditude to your hosts?

by Bens4vcobra on Oct 24, 2008 8:42 AM CDT up reply actions

hugs are a nice way of saying thank you

for firing our coach, embarrassing us on national TV, and proving that we are inferior to Alabama. If you look close that safety had googly eyes too——its the WV way

That

camera angle could not have been more perfect. As soon as he touched the ball it panned behind him and you could not even see an AU defender.

Auburn fans are like slinkys... not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I was going to say the same thing.

That was the best camera work I’ve seen all year – especially to be able to cut to it in real time.

I got really into this game

I was screaming at WV in the first half to stop them on 3rd down. I mean how hard is it? Well they figured it out in the 2nd half and made me a happy man.

But really….DAMN YOU AUBURN!! Its the Big East for christ sakes!!

Over under the amont of days in take for Aubie to fire Tubby?

3, 7, 20?

Don't take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive.

They

are at least going to give him at shot at the Iron Bowl. No way he gets fired before that.

i agree

he has owned us and thats one thing they do not want to loose this year. that can make their season

Was it just me...

or did anybody else think that the zebra’s were going to help the barners with the calls that happened on the first drive. On the fumble, his knee was down and the ball went ahead 8 yrds. The pass Codi threw for first down skipped off the ground, and then on 3rd and 2, the RB was stop 1 yrd short and they gave him 2 1/2. What?!?!?
I thought for sure the fix was in when we found out they were SEC zebras. But, if the barners can’t help but stumble over there own arrogant feet, or ears if you prefer. My weekend was made early, now if we beat the Utcheaters, what a glorious day it will be.

by jtCRIMSON on Oct 24, 2008 12:00 PM CDT reply actions

They

were SEC officials so its no surprise the officiating was horrible.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest.
