Barner friend
of mine told me yesterday that he listened to the Bama game on the radio, but didnt even learn of the Auburn score until Sunday morning. Now he was on a road trip, likely drunk, and claims a girl came into play. I told him he was typical of most Barners in that he was more concerned with Bama that AU. This is plain and simple a bad case of little brother syndrome. This will probably only get worse since their season is really over until the Iron Bowl (which I contend is not as important as the 3rd Sat in Oct anyway).

I contend...
…that I will vomit on myself if we win “the 3rd Saturday in October”, but lose the “Iron Bowl”. In fact, I would rather beat “The Hat” than Fill-up Full-mer this year. I do detest the Viles, but we owe some Tigers a little something, and I’m ready to see it begin now.

Agreed...
As much as I hate the pumpkins, wins over the Barn and the Asshat are much more important to winning the West, taking back our rightful place as the best team in the state, and making Coach Saban’s “homecoming” to Baton Rouge a happy one.

Intensity
Saban keeps saying the boys do well when they are playing with emotion and intensity. There should be plenty of that at the Iron Bowl.

One
of the things thats bothered me the most about losing that game 6 years straight is that we never played with passion and emotion, its like the players didn’t care if they lost again, and again and again…
