The State of the Barn

Most folks in orange and blue have found themselves searching for answers. This search began as a humble, somber expedition for the truth, but has evolved into a loud, obnoxious, and reckless witch hunt.

Blame (blm): To hold someone responsible for a fault or error.

When scanning over any Auburn blog or listening to a few minutes of Finebaum, the solution is clearly laid out by the Tiger faithful:

"FIRE FRANKLIN! The offense isn't working! It must be the offensive coordinator's fault! Who else could be responsible for 1/3 of the entire football tea..."

It is in mid-sentence, that the orange and blue shaker must drop to their side, their teeth clench, and the realization of the truth begins to sink in...

Tony Franklin is responsible for the offense, but who is responsible for Tony Franklin?

"No! It couldn't be? OUR Tubby?! Surely not..."

I cannot understand this complete denial by tiger fans. Where does the buck stop in Opelika? Tubbs makes $2,825,000 a year without incentives for his judgement. That's the only thing that universities pay their coaches for: their judgement.

This is a copy of Tubb's current contract:

Check out part 7:

"7. COACHING STAFF: Coach will be responsible for the hiring and firing oh his staff..."

This is the truth that Auburn fans refuse to swallow; Tubb's is responsible. If they continue to lose games, it's because of him. If they win out, it is because of him.

He's at every practice, he watches film, he knows his team. He can make moves, if he sees fit. Until then, everything will continue to go as it has been.

Bottom Line: Auburn fans take comfort that your two losses have come from undefeated teams. If you want to play the blame game, give credit where credit is due. See you in T-town on November 29th, check out the other sideline for a coach who will step-up and take responsibility when things go sour.
