PrintWhat did he say? I missed it but the two clowns said he dropped a bomb on the talent level at Alabama. I am guessing he stated that we have less talent than most teams in the top 10, but whatever. I am glad we are playing the underdog role. I love the hate because when we whoop that ass in the next three games the results will be oh so sweet!

We do probably have less talent than other schools, at the moment anyway. That just goes to show how good a coaching job Sabans doing.

Very true
If compare starters to starters, we are probably well below the other top 5 teams. Doesn’t really matter but it is true.
When you are an Alabama fan you have to hate Auburn, I hate Tennessee because i want to.

…but that’s B.S. Maybe in terms of experienced depth, but starters to starters? Florida is the only team with which I’m willing to debate that issue. Give UGA the QB, RB, and 2 WRs, and we’re still better than them everywhere else on the field. Nobody else in the East matches us. In the West? LSU comes closest, but we’re better at QB, close to even at RB, down one WR, slightly better at OL and DL, and we come out on top at LB and in the secondary. In the words of Tenacious D: we rock.

We have all star talent
mainly in the O and D lines. Where we fall behind other top teams is
1) QB. Not to knock on JPW. He’s having a great year, but most of the other top ranked teams have Heisman contender QB’s.
2) WR. Julio is amazing, but we don’t have as much depth there as some other top teams.
