Auburn Game To Be On CBS
The SEC and CBS announced that the University of Alabama football game against Auburn on Nov. 29 will be at 2:30 p.m. as part of a network college football doubleheader.
Georgia Tech vs. No. 13 Georgia will be at 11 a.m., followed by Auburn at Alabama. Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson and Tracy Wolfson call the game.

The bitching and moaning about how Gary Danielson hates us is old hat, and I’m not the paranoid Alabama fan that’s convinced the media hates us. However, I will say they aren’t great commentators, I’ve heard them enough this season, and I’d much rather hear drunk Musberger and Herbstreit instead.
Oh well.

Alabama judges its team by national and SEC titles. Auburn judges its team by how many times it beats Alabama. You tell me who the dominant team in the state is.

…well, maybe it is. But it’s really gonna suck during the SECCG when they do that game, because Danielson loves him some Tim Tebow. “Oh boy, Tim Tebow, what a great quarterback. You know what? I wouldn’t mind sucking him off. Really, I mean, I bet his semen has little Heisman trophies swimming around in it. Then when we get done we can perform unnecessary circumcisions in poor medical conditions on small children in third world countries!”

It is funny, cause it is true! I do like Danielson, but there are a few players that he just absolutely loves (Tebow, Dorsey, etc…). The good news, at least for me is that I will be at the game!

The Bright Side
Last year’s game was the 11:30AM JP game. Now, Bama is playing yet another week in the premiere SEC game…and it’s not like the boogs are pulling their weight. I’ll put up with ridiculously lame announcers every week if it means that we stay at the top. Roll Tide.

playing Auburn at 11:30 am- I think you mean UT. I think we played the game at night.
the UT game was mos def an early "JP game"
i was there w/ my brother and dad, and we had to leave the place we stayed at in mississippi at like 530 to ensure we got a parking spot and some food-n-booze before the game. and we were all sunburned on the left side of our faces….. it was fucking awesome!

i watched their coverage of the barn-georgia game last weekend. you know it wasn’t that bad, for real, the three Dave’s need to get better agents (oh, Arie Gold if only you were real) cause they have about 20x’s the broacasting talent and presence as mushberger and danielson………. i fucking HATE bob davie though and am glad he cant possibly be involved in any of our remaining games. (CBS, CBS, Fox)
P.S. i’m knocking on wood btw cause i hate when we follow some other game, thanks to the new BS clock rules they’re trying to fit square pegs into three hour round holes when it comes to TV scheduling. pretty much every single raycom game i’ve watched on gameplan this year has cut into the first 20-40 minutes of the game that was supposed to be on right afterwards….we’re a WAC or MTN West fan i’d be demanding a refund….
anyway, i hope the BEEEEEESSS vs bulldogs game finishes in a timely manner.
I'd rather
listen to the Barn’s radio broadcast of the game than CBS. At least they would respect us enough to get the names right. It would also be fun to listen to their on-air lamentations during what I hope will be one of the worst beat-downs of their beloved teagles…… EVER.

I am going to have to sit through the numerous TV timeouts that are like 10 minutes long.

Does anybody else miss Franklin and Gotfried doing the Sat. night games. I always thought they were great; I think Danielson just hates everyone and thinks it his job to second guess every single play call. Is Buerlein doing the early game; does anyone remember how mad he got on air when they showed the Bennett hit during the Alabama/S. Carolina game a couple years ago?
