As much as I hate to do it...

...I have to disagree with Saban on one thing.

"I have seen the Eagles about 20 times in my life," Saban says.

"I hate the #$%#ing Eagles!

I'll agree

They suck, and its been 30 years since they’ve written an album anybody’s given a shit about. They also embody the rock and roll spirit by selling their album exclusively at Wal-Mart. Also, their a bitch to work with and clearly all hate one another.

That said, I do like 7 Bridges Road. Which they didn’t write……

by Bobby Briggs on Nov 19, 2008 8:51 AM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Well...

I agree they are not what they used to be and shouldn’t sell out to walmart but they are a lot better than what some of you pull off of your Ipods. Talk about weird.

I do not work on Chavis (sp)?

Auburn fans are like slinkys... not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

The Eagles suck ass

I have actually been to Winslow, AZ and yes their is a statue on the corner and a flat bed ford there. So so stupid. I have seen WSP just over 100 times, but I havent seen them in years since I am not in college anymore and my wife just plays Ryan Adams non-stop for the last year.

Do you think Coach dances or at least bobs his head. What if he sings along.

I wouldn't piss off the boys from Alabama . . .

by I hate UT on Nov 19, 2008 10:11 AM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

We took a trip

up to Winslow, AZ cuz it sounded cool inthe song. That place sucked balls. It was crappier than any town in Alabama. I later read that they were actually talking about Flagstaff, AZ, but Winslow fit better.

The Big Lebowski

Is there a better movie than The Big Lebowski? That is one of the most underrated movies ever.

The dude abides…The dude abides…

Bowling, narcissism, viking ladies, White Russians, a bald David Thewlis, round-robin tourneys, and uzi ninja bikers. Nope. Not a better movie.

Raising Arizona...

…is a better movie (also by the Coens, natch), but The Big Lebowski is a great film.

I have...

…and Billy Madison is the greatest cinematic achievement the human race has ever produced outside of the Seventh Seal.

Caddyshack

You guys are too young. Caddyshack is the pinnacle of cinematic hilarity. I mean, I love all of the Coen Brothers’s movies, and The Big Lebowski was terrific. But, it didn’t leave me tired from laughing like Caddyshack did. That’s all I need out of a comedy. It doesn’t have to be artistic or clever; it just has to make me laugh.

Rodney Dangerfield...

…is a genius. I remember watching some “making of” featurette on that, and they were talking about how all the other actors crowded around to watch his scenes because they all thought he was hilarious and wanted to see him perform, and he kept going further and further over the top because no one was laughing but he didn’t realize they couldn’t laugh or it would be picked up by the mics and ruin the take. That’s why he was so animated throughout the film.

So, why do you use the word 'trapped'?

Huh?

Why do you say you feel trapped in a woman’s body?

Well, sometimes I gets the menstrual cramps real hard.

i wouldn't say it's the best comedy ever

or the best drama ever, or the best suspense-crime movie ever. it’s simply the best all around movie i’ve ever seen, and i own like 4 copies of it on DVD and VHS combined. and i always watch it when it’s on HBO, and i showed to at least 3 different girls when i was a single man, and i boned all three of em…. it’s a fantastic movie

Sudden Impact, and Clint is rockin’ a crimson Member’s Only jacket.

Meanwhile, Sandra Locke is riding a bicycle in some strappy high-heeled sandals. The 80s, baby.
