Can anyone clarify the Horse Collar rule for me?
Are they actually enforcing it? I’ve been watching the first 20 minutes of the Georgia-Tech game and have seen three blatant horse collar tackles and none of them have been called.
I agree.
It’s been all over the place, and the officials, players, announcers, no one is even acting like it’s happening. From what I’ve seen, players aren’t even calling for the flag…

watching the ucla/asu game from the nosebleeds last night...
…i saw two blatant ones go by without a blink from the refs. it’s not that hard a call to make – you can see the effect on the runner plainly, just like a facemask penalty. my guess is they are gonna wait till someone gets their leg shattered in two before they start calling it again.

Most of their passes are to the inside? Also, they are clearly loading up on the left side. We need to try to stretch the field. The seam is open all day, esp when they cheat the safeties.

But OU looks a helluva lot better. 45-35 only carries so much currency. I mean UT got did by the team that lost to Baylor (maybe) and got shelled by OU. Plus, the Mizzou game that they put so much currency in is NOT that impressive (if ever). I mean KU can do it. AND, I’ll take OU’s top OOC games, thank you.
