Sly Croom resigns

Message just scrolled across on ESPN. No news as to whether he was forced out or resigned of his own accord. Sorry to see him go, he is a true class act. With luck he can get on as a DC somewhere as he always seemed to field good defenses.

That's sad news...

….but not entirely unexpected. As far as his defenses go, he had nothing to do with them, he’s a “west coast offense guru” type, but his offenses never did anything over there. He walked into a really bad situation in Starkville, and there aren’t many coaches that could have turned that program around. Best of luck to him, hopefully he’ll land on his feet as an NFL assistant again (he had quite a bit of success there).

If any coach

coach has performed a “turnaround” at MSU lately it has been Sly Croom. This year obviously didn’t fare too well, but last year was leaps and bounds above most years in recent memory for the Bulldogs.

Best of luck to Coach Croom

I say bring him over to Bama

Let him go out the right way.

When you are an Alabama fan you have to hate Auburn, I hate Tennessee because i want to.
