Did anyone else notice how Lundquist couldn't get over the fact that Stover's TD last night was his "FIRST EVER!" I guess he didn't watch the Independence Bowl last year (3:28 mark), or, you know bother to pull up his career stats before speaking. More of that quality CBS coverage we're locked into for the next 15 years!

Didn't CBS..........
…..also cover the 2006 Iron Bowl? If I recall correctly, Nikita caught a TD in that game as well.

Excellent...
you mean we get to watch Ga Tech take knees for 5 minutes and the kickoff for the Iron Bowl EVERY year? Spec-freakin-tacular.

CBS must be high on seniority or something!!
Surely they could find more qualified announcers.

good thing this is it for cbs...
next year it will be espn, at least they can usually get the names of players right… and hopefully espn will not hire verne and gary….oh, man how bad would that be. Orlando McCain is my favorite player!!!!!!

When he said that...
My dad and I just looked at each other and rolled our eyes! Finally, my child said “Is it really his first, or does this guy just not know Alabama players too well?” So, I guess they COULD find more qualified announcers—-my 9yr old daughter!!
It didn’t take away from the celebration!! RTR!!

He also called...
…Mark Barron Marquis Johnson on the first play of the game despite “BARRON” being clearly visible on his jersey.

Another one, did you notice CBS screwed up.
When they ran the clips about ‘past iron bowls’, they scrolled over about 10 years of games. When it got to the Tiffin 52 yard feild goal, the clip shows Alabama players celebrating, the caption showed the score as 23-22, but the words stated ‘Auburn Prevails’.
CBS is doing a poor job in several aspects!
