It is great to see good hearted smack being laid every once in a while!
But lets be perfectly honest...
If Bama doesnt show up for some reason or isnt fired up for some reason...I know LSU can beat us and prob would. They are a pretty solid team...as far as lines go.
However, there is no reason to believe the Tide will roll flat this weekend... So thats pretty much that. You believe Scott will be your savior this weekend? He is a powerful rusher, no doubt. But trying to run through our defense WILL not work, barring radical or catastrophic events....so for that i am sorry, LSU.
AS FOR LSU...how do you plan on stopping Coffee, Ingram, Upchurch, AND Grant...for 60 mins.?
As far as quarterbacks go, RIGHT NOW, Id put Wilson over the 'duel threat' QBs of LSU...Its all about game management, ladies and gents....
Bama has the Best O-Line in the SEC...and arguably the best D-Line....or is it the other way around?....
And NO...Bama will prob not score 50pts....Unless yall want to throw a few pick 6s to us, im sure Woodall and Arenas would love a couple more....
And lastly....COACHING, COACHING, COACHING...SABAN OVER MAD HATTER HANDS DOWN....Yes, Miles won a title wih SOMEBODY else's players and almost lost last year to a sizably inferior Alabama team coached by that same SOMEBODY with someone else's players....AIGHT?...did i lose anyone there?
And this year is only a rebuilding year...a damn good one too...AIGHT? Roll Tide!

Clock Management
That drive at the end of the Tennessee game that slowly ripped away Tennessee’s heart and soul was the most beautiful 7 1/2 minutes I have seen this year. We can wear you down by pounding the ball or short passes. Doesn’t matter to us. I think by the second half LSU will be so worn down that Upchurch and co. will be able to control the line and you will see that methodical, slow clock management that will frustrate the crap out of Miles.

The slow dagger is underrated

Wilbon is an idiot
Was listening to Wilbon today on PTI and he has guaranteed that Florida or TT will kick BAMA’s A$$! Has this idiot watched any of the BAMA games at all? CAN we RUN the table and beat Florida is SEC championship game? I want the Gators!
Anyone’s thought on BAMA against Florida and TT? TT plays no defense but very tough on O (this is my first post)
My thoughts...
…are that I like us against anyone in the country. UF looks like one of the top teams in the country, but what will they do when they can’t run? And I’m not convinced that TT will make it through the next two weeks.

Wilbon
He is great on PTI, and it is one of the few really good shows on ESPN. Wilbon has made it no secret that he hates Saban, so view his critiscm through a prism. I will give him credit for at least being honest about how he feels about Saban, as opposed to some of the others at the WWL.

Most likely has something to do with the Miami thing, I recall the guys on PTI really laying into Saban for omgosh going back on something he said.
He also co wrote two books with Barkley, and being an Auburn guy, maybe some barner hate rubbed off.
Why not...
…hate Saban? All the other (non-Bama) kids are doing it.
