For those who enjoy all Tide Sports

The Alabama men's cross country program won the SEC Championship on Monday morning. It is their first since 1973 and only the second ever in school history.

The title for the Tide marks them as the first school to win other than Arkansas since the Hogs joined in 1991. That's 17 straight SEC titles, and Arkansas also won 17 straight in the former Southwestern Conference making their streak 34 straight conference titles.

Alabama dominated the meet placing all five scorers in the top 10, all earning All-SEC honors. The first time since 1976 and only the second time in school history.

Thank you, RB04...

…for spreading the news. I don’t follow other Bama sports closely, but I always root for all our programs. I was disappointed to see our soccer team lost to Auburn last week 0-4, but pleased to see our volleyball team returned the favor a few days later. Anyway, this is great news, and it’s a big deal for any of our sports teams to win national championships. In light of Arkansas’ long domination of that sport, it’s even bigger. Congratulations, Tide runners!
