This has been making the rounds, another example of Auburn of a cheap play by Auburn's offensive line. You can see the right tackle trying to take out Luther Davis from behind.

not only is Auburn bad at being good, they're bad at being bad...
that was horrible…
I’m so happy that Davis wasn’t hurt…I don’t even think he noticed it…

nice initial hit by the aubarn dude that put davis on his bootie. but what does he do? GETS UP and continues to try and make the play. LOVE IT
Wow.
There was even a second hesitation before he went after him. If they spent as much time learning to block for real they may have won more games.
All kidding aside, if Tubberville is staying Hugh Nall needs to be one of the first to go. This is a pattern and can lead to big time problems.
Alabama judges its team by national and SEC titles. Auburn judges its team by how many times it beats Alabama. You tell me who the dominant team in the state is.
Do you actually think anyone in Auburn cares about this? When Ziemba did it to Dorsey last year Tubby, et al, talked about how horrible it was but, oh well, it was an accident. Oops! Sorry about your knee!
This is only actually going to be a problem if the refs start catching it and penalizing it. I’d love to see players who do dangerous stuff like that tossed without warning. Accident or not. If Tubby starts losing (more) games because he can’t keep his line clean for a full game it’ll change.
Until then, unless we get some kind of Tony Franklin tell-all about the kind of things coached on, this matters to exactly nobody except Auburn’s opponents.
That's what I meant
if the referees starting catching it and tossing linemen out of the game. They go ballistic about a horse collar tackle but zip on this.

What might also work is allowing people to send film like this to the SEC and having the SEC actively suspending players for stuff like this.
Suspensions and fines...
…are frequently handed out after the fact from watching film in soccer. Should be the same way here.
Bastard!
As an exlineman, this is as dirty as it gets. That was an intentional act and plays like that should be an immediate ejection. I don’t care which team did it, he was trying to hurt the guy plain and simple….
This is why i HATE auburn!
When you are an Alabama fan you have to hate Auburn, I hate Tennessee because i want to.
Ummm, hate to say I told you so
But, honestly, is there a dirtier team in the SEC than the Barn? This is very much coached, very much encouraged, very much a part of the Barn mentality. The only team that comes close is FSU: Mickey Andrews teaches defenders to twist the ankles and knees when in the pile. I saw it on no less than three occasions in the scant few minutes of the Doak beatdown. No wonder the Barn and Noles don’t play anymore…couldn’t afford the orthopedic bills.

who was it that
called their offense the chop block and roll? It was right then, and it’s right now.

Following Tubs to Ark and chopping him as he exits the duck blind? LOL!

BOOG 101 ( a mandatory course for all incoming boogs)
Chapter One: When to take cheap shots.
Rule # 1: A cheap shot should only be taken when nothing else is working against your opponent.
Rule # 2:The perfect time to take a cheap shot is in the second half when down by double digits..
Rule # 3: Make sure the cheap shot occurs on the back end of the play. That way the referee will not be looking. A referee’s eyes follow the ball. When he looks down the field, dive for an ankle or knee.
If these rules are applied properly, the sky is the limit for the boogs. After all, all good players need their legs in order to play the game.
When you feel you have mastered the art of the boog cheap shot we can move onto chapter two…why beating Alabama is the most important thing to us.
SABAN + ALABAMA = 13
Post that on TET
They’re always looking for some intelligent writing, and this would actually be upper D level course work there.

wow
i saw the thread at work but couldn’t see the video. that was obviously a purely intentional, malicious, dirty hit. holy sh*t!? if someone had done that to me when i was playing, i would have beat his face in with his own face mask. that was inexcusable. the SEC should most definitely suspend him if he has any eligibility left.
??
How the hell could he miss? I mean- cheaters never win.. but bein bad at cheating just makes you look like an ass.
...RTR...
Scum...
…is what it takes to execute that maneuver. I watched that play over on my television, and I could see even better how very intentional and malicious it was. After McElroy’s TD, we should have gone for two. Scum.

Rats...
…I just can’t get over this. This must be one of Tubby’s 2- or 3-star players ‘with character’ that he prefers to take instead of, you know, guys like Julio Jones, Burton Scott, Mark Barron, Tyler Love, etc.

Why is the video no longer available?
Who took it away? By the way, they HAVE said something against it at TET (FYI). I still have the game, but I don’t know where exactly it is….isn’t it closer to the end?
here's another version...
tho not that good…
