Around SBN: Nevin Shapiro Vows To Bring Down Miami

I heard it straight from the horse's mouth on Finebaum today. Among other gems, Dye insinuated that Saban and Jimmy Sexton somehow concocted a conspiracy to keep Auburn down (though they are evidently doing a fine job of doing it to themselves) and that Chizik's head coaching record is a 'moot point' and should not be considered in evaluating him as a head coach.

Huh?

That's interesting...

Because Jimmy Sexton is also Chizik’s agent.

Dye

is either the biggest idiot in the world or a secret genius, there is no in between.

I am sure

our old friend Jim Beam has an influence on Dye’s thought process.

Alabama judges its team by national and SEC titles. Auburn judges its team by how many times it beats Alabama. You tell me who the dominant team in the state is.

Actually he said it was...

a ‘mute’ point, which makes only a little more sense.

I'm in no condition to drive...wait! I shouldn't listen to myself, I'm drunk.

Hey Pat

is Saban making you an idiot by somehow controling your mind?

Just another example

of how the Barn minds works—everything that happens in the world is a result of some force emanting from Bama. AU is strictly a derivative. All actions occurring there are like ship waves washing ashore from the passing of the USS Alabama.

I was in the car

listening to this interview while it was raining, so the windows were rolled up. The way he was pausing and slurring on top of his normal southern speech pattern, made me feel like I could SMELL the bourbon in the small space!! I couldn’t listen anymore. It wasn’t believable, WHEN you could follow it.

Wow, makes you love Stallings more every day!
