Um...

From the article,

But be warned: One UA official cautioned today that this schedule is tentative, not finalized and could change in the near future.

Emphasis is theirs. For what it’s worth.

I like that...

…we’re scheduling the SECCG.

hahaha

thats the same thing I was going to post! I like how the SECCG is on the schedule

so easy... even an Auburn fan can do it!

Yikes

thats quite a run after N Texas, 5 SEC games in a row.

yeah...

…but the absence of georgia and florida makes it seem survivable.

Why do we

have to play Tennessee-Chattanooga between MSU and Auburn? That’s a horribly placed game against an opponent we gain nothing from beating.

that is unless...

you are the people putting the revenue in the bank…

so easy... even an Auburn fan can do it!

Plus...

Everyone only gets one off week in 2009, and the last thing we want to do is have to play 11 games before an off week.

heard dat...

we were damned lucky our lack of depth was never exposed this year. injury-wise we got out as good as i’ve ever seen and that’s not likely to recurr. the incurrance of injuries is – basically – a random event and not heavily affected by outside factors. the odds say we’ll see a regression to the mean in 2009; i.e. more injuries. an 11-week stretch without a break would only acerbate that.

Oh, I didn't

know we were only allowed one idle week. Knowing that, it makes sense. Thanks

by Bamagrad on Dec 20, 2008 12:25 PM CST up reply actions

The better question is...

Why do we have to play Tennessee-Chattanooga?

by String30 on Dec 22, 2008 8:55 AM CST up reply actions

What a difference...

…a year makes. I expect us to win 9 to 12 of these games…OK, I really expect us to win all 12.
