IF WE LOSE, YOU LOSE: THE SECCG BET
I challenged Orson to a SECCG wager a few weeks ago, and it has now snowballed into a no win scenario. As if you needed more incentive to pull for the Tide come Saturday, the idea of suffering through my tender, introspective rendition of "Higher" should be enough to have every reader of this blog with functioning ears to pull harder than they have all season.

ya'll say lose/lose
but i say watching this comedy would actually slightly soften the blow should bama come up short. and if you’re gonna gay it up, go full throttle…“with arms wide open.”

Yeah....

theyre from my neck of the woods, Orlando
they went to school in Tallahassee. Tremonti actually grew up in Michigan, moved to Florida where he found Scott Stapp at Lake Highland Prepatory High School. Stapp went to FSU and Tremonti went to Clemson, then Tremonti transferred down to FSU. They snagged Flip and Brian Marshall in tryouts for the band “Naked Toddler” but decided to go with Creed instead. All four of them still have houses in Orlando and so does the new singer of their new band, Alter Bridge.
i LOVE Creed and dont care if you hate me for it.
im not impressed with your performance

I was just going by the Wikipedia entry
Despite my occasionally obscure music tastes, I don’t have an issue with what people listen to. I have shrugged the “Indier Than Thou” attitude of my teen years. My take on things now is “Do you like it? Then that’s all that matters.”

Crystal Castles are at pretty popular...
…or at least have a strong buzz currently. They have 7 million plays on last.fm for instance, whereas someone like the Eagles has about 9 million plays. Obviously that means much younger people are using that site, but it shows that they aren’t super obscure like say, The Married Monk who has about 42,000 plays.

But I'D have to HAVE...
…a pretty “strong buzz” to tolerate them.

What about making
Orson sing that new Roll Tide song that kept getting plugged on here the other day if Bama wins? That’s one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard!

I don't think they suck...
…but it will be hilarious whichever one of these guys has to sing one of their songs. I just pray it’s Orson. Todd could always step up when we WIN with a rendition of “Family Tradition” to make Hank, Jr proud. After all, we are the BAMA FAMILY and by damn, it’s OUR TRADITION to win championships.
