Chavis to LSU?

I'm listening to Boomo (sp?) Bugg on 93.9 'The Score' out of Florence (I think), and they just said that rumors are saying that Miles is considering him for LSU. Again, like Kiffin, as a Bama fan I think this is a great hire! Here we have a coach whose defenses have been off and on for several years now remaining in the SEC West so that we can play them every year.

Anyone else hearing this? Thoughts?

Well...

…as much as I would like to slam the hire, Chavis has been decent at UT (vs. old school offenses, anyway), and I don’t think it could be worse than what LSU did this year defensively.

I agree...

Chavis has not always had the best defense, but they are usually solid. I can’t remember a game the past few years that Tenn lost and it could be pinned on the defense – usually their offense would put the defense in a no win situation.
