Former Player Calls Fulmer 'Two-Faced'

or... Tell Us Something We Don't Know

In his time at Tennessee, Fulmer got a mountain of glowing press about how great of a person he was. How he really cared about the athletes. How he's just a paragon of virtue and one of the "good guys".

I've never really bought it. I didn't buy it before he turned secret witness, and I certainly didn't buy it afterward. That's why it's awfully funny to see Herrera's comments about Tennessee in GoVolsXtra today:

"My biggest regret was going to the University of Tennessee. The head coach, Phillip Fulmer, is a very two-faced guy. The side you saw out of him through recruiting wasn't the side that you saw once you got there. He wasn't a molder of men. He was just a politician, trying to work his way through. I thought about leaving, but my teammates, being there for the team, is what kept me there."

Yeah, no kidding.
