Heisman thoughts...
How often is it that the quarterback for the number one team in the nation is not even mentioned in the Heisman trophy race? I'm not saying that JPW deserves it by any means, my vote goes to Tebow, but i think that it just shows the quality of this BAMA and how they relay on the entire team. It just goes to show that the toughness that the Bear instilled in the program is finally back.

I love that no Bama player is mentioned
and I totally agree with Coach Bryant. This is one of the things that make Bama so unique in the world of college football.
I wouldn't piss off the boys from Alabama . . .
Since last year
LSU finished #1 and Matt Flynn wasn’t mentioned by anyone, not even his mom.
Basically, every running team and/or defensive team has a QB that isn’t mentioned in the Heisman talk.
JPW has thrown for 9 TDs and 5 INTs, and only 1900 yards, and that is with one of the 5 best WRs in the nation to throw to. His job is to not do anything stupid, and he does a pretty good job accomplishing that.
it doesn't matter...the Heisman trophy is a joke...
granted, it (usually) goes to the best player (statistically) in college football that year…but it has no bearing on the future of that player and it usually comes with a disappointing loss and/or embarrassing performance in a bowl game…
but…and this is a big BUT, I think Bama has some players that might get that Heisman mention in a few years…Jones, Ingram…I’m looking at you!
but I don’t care if we win one or not…NC are what matters…
big-ups to David Palmer btw…
