Who's going to Atlanta
Hey,
Just curious if anybody else here is going to Atlanta? I'll be leaving out early Saturday morning, and hope to be there around Noon to either hit the Fan Fair festivities or watch the Army Navy game in a bar. And depending on how happy I am leaving the game, I'll be staying in Atlanta that night and going to the bars to celebrate, and probably watch the Big 12 championship when I do.

I'll be there
I’m heading up friday afternoon/early evening, me and a couple of buddies got a hotel room 5 blocks from the ‘Dome. We don’t have any definate plans on what to do once we get there, but copius amounts of Beer will be involved.
Me Too
I’ll be there. By the way, what exactly is Fan Fare. I have two tickets but don’t know what it is or for sure where it is relative to the Dome. Can you clue me in?
Sam R.
It's one of those fan-interactive things like they do for the super bowl and such
I think it would be more fun for kids – you probably get to try to kick a field goal, run through cones, etc. It’s pretty big though – it’s in the World Congress Center. I have never used my tickets to it in the past and won’t be using them this year either.
I'm going to have to delete this thread (not really)...
…I can’t take reading about meet up plans for this and not having a ticket. :(
For those of you that want to have a wild celebration. Fishbone is playing at The Loft after the game:

Hah
I did a show with Fishbone about 10 years ago, and those guys had been around a while then. Angelo is certainly a unique character. I was putting some hospitality on their bus and somebody had a Dead Kennedys CD in, and I remember him telling someone to shut that stuff off because all those old DK records sound like shit.
I imagine he's a bit of a nut to hang out with...
…I saw them back in high school and it was a very memorable show. I wonder if they still have it?
Fishbone was pretty popular back in the day...
…and I’m guessing we go to different kinds of clubs/bars. I’m also guessing that means you don’t want me to let you know if Skindred comes to town?
yea, during my skateboarding days back in the '90s I listened to Fishbone...
and a lot of groups like that…
it’s still good music…

Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!
I'm a big Ben Harper fan...
…and I like a few others on your list too. I’m just ridiculously diverse in my tastes.

Ion't know...a Bama lifer is a lil too insane for me...
like I said, my butter pecan Rican is a convert and she once told an Auburn fan, “Rolling Tide!” and it was too cute…I corrected her and now she’s a Bama beast like me, but it was hilarious…
