Who in the WORLD
do they think they can lure to the Plains? Finebaum was reporting that a booster had contacted Petrino but his attorney said Petrino is staying and he has some clause in his contract that he can’t go to another SEC West school.
I still think two incredible coordinators that could be head coaches are Charlie Strong and Dan Mullen at Florida. Outside of them, I can’t think of a soul left that would be even remotely qualified or ‘name’. Plus, who in their right mind would WANT to wade into that mess of boosters?
Alabama judges its team by national and SEC titles. Auburn judges its team by how many times it beats Alabama. You tell me who the dominant team in the state is.

That makes 3 coaches done in by the TIDE!
Bowden was dead in the water after us. Fulmer pretty much had to get a win against us and couldn’t. Now Tubbs gets the axe after a humiliating defeat in tuscasloosa. personally i think they’re stupid for doing this, but he hasnt recruited and relations w/ au were never good to begin with. Lets see what “Big Name” coach actually has the interest and or balls to come compete in the same state as CNS.
Got a dip in my stride, cuz you fear the tide.

ditto
losing 45-0 to your arch rival, on top of general moribund play, will do that for you.

Yes, yes...
…but it’s all part of the process…and if the Tubervillain had taken the advice of CNS, he would have taken that Arkansas job last year and still be gainfully employed.

This is what happens when coaches get Lazy. Tubby figured he could coast it out and still be successful (by Barn standards) because Alabama was in a state of dissaray…then this Saban fellow came along and decided to poke the Sleeping Giant till it woke up. Now the Giant is running around eating coaches for snacks.

"Why would they want to play against these big names in the SEC every week?"
This was one of the questions of why a younger coach of a smaller school would want to step into the pressure cooker that is the SEC. This adds a whole new dimension to that question, doesn’t it?

Yeah
As in, do they want to play against THE big name in coaching in the SEC…those other big names just don’t seem to be there anymore for some reason…I forget why.

OK...
I just want to see the EXTREME CLOSEUP picture of Tubs with a stack of “How to be a Better You” books as he’s packing his office into his car like those pricks did for Franklin. THAT, my friends, would be the icing on the cake for me.
In all actuality, I hate this move. Tubs has many more transgressions he has to be smote for.
