PTI - Bama equal to Boise State, Ball State

So Dan LeBastard and Mike BonBon had the audacity to compare Bama to Ball State and Boise State on PTI the other day. According to these geniuses, since Bama's schedule turned out to be weaker than expected, they said if you take away the tradition and the hype and consider that the SEC is in a down year, Bama's basically like Boise State and Ball State going undefeated. Umm...last time I checked, Boise State and Ball State didn't have to play at Georgia, at Tennessee, at LSU and at Arkansas. I mention Arkansas because they managed to knock off Tulsa who was one of those non-BCS schools that were undefeated. Yes, Georgia, Tennessee and LSU weren't as good as expected. But there's no way Boise State and Ball State beat all three of them on the road. Throw in Clemson on a neutral field, and I'm sure they would still be undefeated. Gimme a break. These guys are douche bags. I've lost all respect for them and PTI.

…if you want to hear anything positive about Bama, you have to stop watching ESPN unless there’s an actual game on, and even then you have to be prepared to hear some garbage. I don’t blame them for their regional biases, since I have more than enough of my own.

I watch Talkin’ Football on CSS if I want Southern-fried football. It’s not quite as omni-Georgia as Sportsnite, but the production quality is just as mediocre…and they love SEC football.

Mostly, I come here. I have to hold my nose past a few trolls and look at pics of an ugly girl, but it’s worth it.

“head” guy is just an idiot. He’s always saying that wrong things, reading the wrong questions, and just being stupid. And T- Martin, though almost right on, sounds very uneducated. You can barely understand what he’s saying. He did pick Bama to win though!

When you are an Alabama fan you have to hate Auburn, I hate Tennessee because i want to.

…picked Bama to win the SEC West before the season started and is winning the picks vs. all three of the ‘experts’ he works with, so it’s hard for me to say he’s just an idiot, although he does act silly.

I agree

I think that is pretty good little regional show. The production quality may not be the greatest, but they only talk about Southern College Football. They also have Tony Barnhart, who is an excellent sport writer and Mark Schlabah who is pretty good writer for ESPN.

I can tolerate "the old guy"......

he is the only one to pick Bama, even though it felt set up. But Tmartin is showing to be the most unintelligable homer, and waste of air time since Lou “Sylvetthher tthhee Cat” Hotlz. I have never seen anybody that would pick a team (ucheaT) no matter what. UcheaT could be playing USC, Texas and Bama at the same time and he’d pick UcheaT. I’m not suprised, but still, what a waste.
