Standing 'O' for the 2008 Crimson Tide!

I've read and heard all the comments from the so-called experts and from some uf fans predicting our demise ad nauseum, but one uf comment caught my attention.

It was your basic 'we're gonna kick your ___ blah, blah' comment- nothing special.  But they also added something like "....and ruin your weekend".  If we do come up a little short, I will definitely be disappointed, but 'ruin my weekend'? Not hardly.

This team has worked their tails off and played their guts out and taken us along for the ride from an afterthought #24 ranking to #1 in the land and the last man standing.  I have enjoyed every minute of it, and I hope to be celebrating even more Saturday night!

But no matter the outcome, the 2008 edition of the Alabama Crimson Tide deserve and will receive a standing ovation from me.

Totally agree with you!!!!

ROLL TIDE

That's the paradox of success. The moment you stop to enjoy it, you are in trouble. You have to keep moving forward. It's not what you have done that's important. It's where you are going.

We are in complete agreement!

Even CNS said he couldn’t have predicted at the beginning of the year that they would be #1. Every week has been just another “gift” from this group. I REALLY want them to come out on top tomorrow, but at this point I think I want it more for them than ME! They deserve it.

I agree

Usually my wishes for our success are totaly self centered. I Want to win so I can talk sh**. If we win, then my Auburn friends get taunted. This time, I would love it for the team. I would love it for the seniors, for the frosh, for Cody, Andre, Julio, and most importantly JPW. He has put up with fans like us for four years. He has had us armchair quarterbacks Sunday mornin’ replaying all the things he did wrong. He has lead our team to a perfect regular season, and if he can clinch the SECCG then more power to him. This is the first year he actually had a line to protect him. Think how those other years could’ve went…

When the “consolation” prize is the Sugar Bowl, you’ve had a damn good season. Alabama has fought their hearts out, working with arguably less raw talent than many teams they have faced, and absolutly nobody thought they would be here come season’s end. Bravo, Tide. Finish the job tomorow night. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

Fight on! Fight On!

This one is for the guys that played their hearts out last year but were stunted by the attitude of others on the team. Today these guys will play as men we have never seen before. I believe that they will come out with more intensity than the stadium can contain. Fight on Men! Show those touch football players from Florida how real men play football.

For those of you there, have a great time and make the most of it because I am stuck in the bellows of a law library cramming for exams.

I am soooo proud of these kids.

Seriously. One of the jugdes I appear before in the NW corner of Iowa just sent his daughter off to Bama for grad school. He’s a convert, with a huge Hawkeye flag and an even larger Alabama flag at his lake house. When you get a stolid Iowegian screaming roll tide into your voicemail, you know you’ve done something right. This is the way the game is meant to be played, and no one, ever, should question their heart, their desire or their toughness.

Roll Tide!

"penis fish"…google that, and the candiru is the first thing that pops up

Bro. Stuck

As always, I admire your writing (it may be the lawyer thing, can’t tell—I always tell my law students that barely any lawyers can write, but we all want to).

Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world.

Pride

That’s all I have to say. If I could shake y’all’s hand I surely would—from Jackson, Mississippi, to the Tide.

Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world.
