Auburn forgets so quickly....

77411_medium

So apparently Auburn fans rolled Toomer's Corner tonight because of our loss.

Do they need to be reminded so soon that we beat them 36-0?

Do they need to be reminded so soon that they went 5-7 this year?

Do they need to be reminded that their program made an extremely dumb decision in getting rid of Tuberville?

Anyway, I thought it was kinda funny that they did that.  Just shows that their happiness really does depend on us.

Oh, and is this the first time they've rolled it this year?

That is the Saddest Thing I've Every Seen

They have nothing to celebrate but their rivals loss in a championship game. This is profoundly pathetic. Little brother syndrome at its finest.

That's lame

and I’m not just saying that because we lost. They suck hairy butt. I would never make a big deal out of Auburn losing any game other than the Iron Bowl. This is reason to hate them even more.

One more bit of evidence as to why we are better than them.

Auburn

is the only SEC team I actively root against even when theyre playing out of conference games. I’ll even cheer for Tennessee. I dont even not root for anyone, I root AGAINST the barn. Everyone in the SEC hates them too, its not just us. Thats the funny thing.

haha. one thing i just found on there...

"The Toomer’s Corner webcam affords a view of the twin, century-old oak trees which have celebrated Auburn’s spirit with countless thousands of revelers who have engaged in the long-standing tradition of "rolling Toomer’s Corner", a celebration occurring after every significant Auburn sports victory. "

So does this mean that since they had such a poor season, they are having to celebrate victories vicariously through other schools?

I'm pretty sure this is part of The Process

Order has been restored

this is the funniest thing I have seen in some time. A good pick me up this morning ;)

Remember, ladies and gentlemen: we are just in year 2 of The Process. Year 2.

Little brother better save some of that toilet paper. They are going to need to clean themselves after we put our foot in their … again next season.

And the next.

And the next.

Alabama judges its team by national and SEC titles. Auburn judges its team by how many times it beats Alabama. You tell me who the dominant team in the state is.

A New Low

I don’t really even know what to say. When another teams loss (not by your hands) is your greatest achievement for the season that is sad.

Auburn

rolls toomers corner for other reasons than football. It may have been that we did it because of your tough loss yesterday but it also could have been because we won another national championship in swimming, or that we beat Louisiana-Monroe in basketball. Or it could have been a combination of all those. Who knows… don’t jump to conclusions. You can ask anybody that went to Auburn and they will tell you that Tommers gets rolled for about any sporting event of note.

Yeah riiiiight...

You can try to spin it any way you want, but WE know and YOU know. I realize you have a lot of toilet paper stored up from “stellar” football season, but you people are beyond pathetic. Ya’ll are hapless, miserable, misfortunate, piteous, pitiable, pitiful, poor, wretched. All of which = contemptible.

wow...

Why are you so angry that you reduce the discussion to name-calling? I would wager you would discipline your children for immature behavior like that.

If you re-read my post you will see that I didn’t disagree that some probably did roll for that reason but I can guarantee that others rolled for other reasons.

Actually...

…my comment is not any different than others I usually post about the Barn. I hate Aubarn and have many reasons for feeling that way. This is just 1 more to add to the list.

bs (and you know it)

Just when you think you’ve seen and heard it all….au fans have a knack for taking it to whole different level.

Its ok...

Pretty soon the barn will be reflecting on those ‘good ol Tuberville days’ and yearning for the days of yesteryear (if not already).

You know Auburn…they live in the past.

yeah

they are putting their hopes and dreams on Gill Turner. A good coach in his own right but he won’t last 2 seasons against Saban….

When you are an Alabama fan you have to hate Auburn, I hate Tennessee because i want to.
