Loyalty to the Crimson Tide--like blogging, sex in the missionary position, and intravenous drug use-- is not only an addiction, but an endless rite of passage we all endure.  When confronted by equally loyal fans of rival teams, we grasp our loyalty, and hope to gain the upper hand when defending our "boys".  We bring up championships, they talk of recent history.  We talk about probation, they talk about Mike Shula's incurable case of Vaginitis.
