Awesome show Todd! Thanks a bunch, made my morning. I'm showin' all the fellas at work this one- we gonna be sportin' fake mullets and mustaches ALL DAY trying to f_ck each other up. I didn't even tell you what we did on the Parliament set you put up a few weeks ago. Put it this way, I wore a cape, cowboy hat and a Cyrano de Bergerac-nose in between meetings pretending to be Sir Nose D'voidafunk AKA: George Clinton- humming any Parliament or Bootsy song I could. All day. Happy Hour included.

You're a star my man. A blogosphere celestial being I tell you. (and a hero to some)

So...
...you work with people who are as off the wall as you? And you just happen to have all these props handy? Are you sure you're not in the movie business in LaLa land?

I bet...
...he works in a bank.

On Wilshire-
There's a grip of stuff to buy, eat, and gawk at. I can't imagine if we had offices on Melrose?

Hey, who doesn't have an Etch-A-Sketch, rubiks cube, and Rock 'Em Sock Em game on their desks? My "pregnant girl-cop" suit is still hung up on my hat rack, right next to my Dr. Strangelove face mask. What's wrong with any of that?

by tapout on May 7, 2008 11:54 AM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Nothing "wrong"...
...per se with what's on your desk, but were you a pregnant girl-cop at Halloween or more recently?

Recently-
My buddy graduated from California Highway Patrol academy.

Costumes, Scotch, Tequila, Guinness, various other sundries, "professional talent", taxi's- it was a rather dull and boring night of celebration. Couldn't find the "pregnant cop" outfit for a week. Paid the costume rental place for the full amount, and ended up going back to a bar that I forgot we ended up at (at some point of that night) got it back, and voila'.

Putting it in the rotation now. It's paid for. Why not?

The rotation?
For what, dare I ask? Are you dressing up(cross dressing?) quite regularly? Don't forget, you promised Nico "real" women.

by bamavicki on May 7, 2008 4:19 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Why don't you?

(you see, i got it all set up. you're 'bout to ruin a really really fun time. for me)

Sorry...
Maybe Nico missed this whole conversation. Yeah, right!

It's HAPPY. . . .
. . . hour again!

You're a perdy funny girl bamavicki. Oh, and as far as the "rotation"- the costumes are for all those banks I "work". (pickin' up what i'm puttin' down?)

Got get my green someway somehow!

Roll Tide!

Hell no, broheem!
Whoever said that to you lies like rug!

You're mighty welcome here in Los Angeles. Introductions to any and all my female friends of Near/Mid East persuasion(s) is a done deal. What you can garner for yourself is all on you Hint: they like guys with money, very very good looks, can dance, and properly mannered. if you got any of that- you're in. part of any of that, you got some work to do boy.

As we say in Spanish- "Tengo fe en ti" (I have faith in you).

(sidenote: the whole "trade-off" thing is funny and all. i'm only joking to the point of introductions. you don't need to bring anyone other than your cool-ass self. and i'm quite serious of being as good a host as i possibly can for your stay here. hopefully it won't be "too long" a stay. i got a ton of things on my plate and can give you a good 2 or 3 days max of my somewhat divided attention. just being up front and as honest as i can be here. if you ain't planning on getting here REAL soon, it'll be better for you to come in late summer. most all my "friends" (me, included) go on holiday back to their home countries or have summer plans just like any one of us. i know Moti (pronounced maht-tee) is leaving for a S. American trip in 2 weeks. she's by far the hottest. Yael is in Paris on Bastille Day week. There's plenty others, but those two are the hottest and are single. again, no guarantees, it's ALL ON YOU broheem. fyi. . . .
