The RBR Weekly Poll: Week Five

Last week, we wanted to know what trap game y'all feared the most, and not surpisingly Ole Miss took the prize.

We escaped with wins on the last play of the game for three straight years now, and they finally have both a BCS coach AND a BCS quarterback, so it's no surprise that most people are a little nervous about the Rebels this year. This week, the poll wants to wish it's friends in Georgia it's most sincere condolensces for the loss of UGA VI with a mascot related poll. Which SEC team's mascot (for teams without live mascots, just pretend they do) would you most want to attack an Auburn football player?

Ah...

Very good poll question, Todd.

I know it’s the homer pick, but I’ll have to go with the elephant. The rest of them can eat / gnarl an Auburn fan, but only the elephant can truly crush a Barner. Plus you get the added bonus that an elephant could lift him up way into the air with his trunk and tusks.

For the runner-up spot, I’d go with either LSU or Kentucky… you know, a big vicious cat would do the trick.

I went with the Gamecock...

...those little bastards are MEAN, plus, wouldn’t it be hilarious to see a boog scrambling all over the field with a chicken stuck inside his facemask?

I was about to ask

who voted for the ‘Cock. I now see Todd voted for the ‘Cock. I wonder, however, if Aubies would truly be afraid of a ‘Cock.

i, too,

went with the cock. i guess the thought of a crazed chicken going after a boog was too hilarius to pass up.

Sweet

I like the thought of an Auburn player being attacked by the many wild animals of the SEC, but something about an Auburn player being attacked by a 19th century Confederate soldier is particularly humorous. On the other end, it’s hard to visualize a football player being attacked by Cornelius Vanderbilt.

It's gotta be the Bulldog

I say go with experience.

Good choice...

UGA would definitely be the experience candidate who has proven that he knows how to get the job done when the need arises.

I took the road less traveled.

I voted for the volunteer. No, it wasn’t the most popular choice, but here is my theory: one of them has to loose. Just like my favorite game (non-Bama) this year might be AU v. UT because either way one of them is a loser (and I can always pray that a meteor could come crashing down on the stadium (but I think my girlfriend might drag me to that game (if Bama has an away game) so obviously I won’t be praying for a catastrophe then)).

Cause bama's pluck and gritt has writ her name in crimson flame.

Speaking of..

RIP UGA VI. You were a good dog.

Auburn fans are like slinkys... not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I know...

...the tiger is Mike from LSU, but I think it would be funny for Aubie to turn and eat his young. I(being the homer I am) voted for the elephant to stomp on the tiger players.
