Destin Hood Signs With Nationals

Though it has been entirely expected for several months now, Destin Hood has officially agreed to terms with the Washington Nationals. Hood is set to report to Viera, Florida in the coming days to play with the Gulf Coast Nationals.

There have been no terms released yet, but I'm sure it's a ton of money. Either way, though, good for Hood. I hope he does well and works his way quickly up through the minors. Hopefully we'll see him in the Big Leagues one day.

And now we have the firm numbers... and Hood got paid.

According to sources within the Nationals organization, Hood will make a total of 1.1 million dollars as a result of signing with the Nationals.
