I listen to a LOT of country – it just tends not to come up on my ipod in the morning. Never forget that I spent 6+ years down there …

In addition, while I totally “get” why some music is great, that doesn’t mean I want to listen to it.
I like my music for dancing and singing along, so therefore I listen to a lot of what could be considered “crap” by music snobs.

My Musicals Playlist is 300 songs. I have about 1000 songs that iTunes classifies as country. I like stuff that makes my work day go faster and that I can sing along too. I have low standards!

Listening to obscure...

...stuff doesn’t mean you are a music snob. It’s merely a reflection of my tastes. I have pop CDs in my collection (Gwen Stefani for instance.) I like a lot of underground music, but not because it’s underground, but because it’s what sounds good to me.
