what console are you using?
and what level do you have it on?
I’d love to see that score in real life…

PS2...
...and Heisman. Naturally, I followed that up with a 35-9 performance against Tulane where I only took at 12-6 lead into the half after every receiver decided not to catch anything thrown their way and Terry Grant decided fumbling was fun. It was frustrating, to say the least.

That's what I don't understand...
I’ve seen it happen on all three teams I’ve used dynasty in the past (USC, TAMU, Alabama) – there are always either stretches of plays/quarters/entire games, where no matter what you do, the team just plays like absolute crap on offense. Your defense is still solid, but your skill players just have this kryptonite that affects everyone.
For me, my problem has been scoring more than a TD in the 3rd quarter. Typically by halftime, I’ve scored at least 35-49 points (depending on the opponent), but then my offense goes kaput in the 3rd quarter after 1 TD (no matter how I scored that TD). Always makes me wanna throw my wireless controller across my apartment.

Perfect simulation?
So what you’re telling me is that the game is actually modeling the frustrating behavior of our beloved Tide accurately… Play Arkansas (07) and see if you can blow a 21-pt lead twice and still win the game…man…do I hope those days are a distant memory! Not that I mind an incredible catch to win the game…I would just prefer to have that play happen when my team fought in a close game the entire time.

I just barely survived a 26-14...
...game against Western Kentucky, so it looks like they made sure to put in a “playing down to the level of competition” patch in there for the Tide. That was the most not fun game I’ve ever played….

Bill Simmons calls this
the NFW game, where the computer just decides there’s no f’in way you’re going to win the game. it’s frustrating as hell.

He's just about right...
...I just survived Arkansas 30-21 all while holding them to five total yards. How did they get three TDs? A ridiculous pick six (Hog CBs can apparently leap a good ten yards through the air, land on their feet, and break two tackles on the way to a 40ish yard return), and two kick off returns for TDs. How did I get 30? A pick six (only a ten yarder, much more believable) and a PR for a TD, and then INTs and fumble recoverys that put me in FG range. I had NOTHING going on offense (I think Coffee average.3 ypc), and my only good offensive play was a swing pass to Grant that went for 70 something yards and a TD. This game is FRUSTRATING.

On a good note...
It appears Marquis Johnson stepped it up and had a good game for you, Todd.

Johnson...
...is a stud in this game. He’s a pick machine and the biggest reason I’m undefeated.
