Tennessee Gets New Unis...
And a little of us dies inside. The guys at 3SIB have the new specs, and I'm afraid it's more puke orange. It looks like their uniforms often did under Majors.

Basketball
I actually like their basketball colors under Pearl, which use a lot more black.

And some folks wonder why I hate orange.
The most beautiful phrase in the English language: "Touchdown, Alabama!"

Likey a way to make more money
I guess Adidas talked them into selling the new uniform to their hillbillies (uh fans). A lot of those hillbillies actually wear the jersey to the game which I always thought was a NFL thing. I do see them at BD, but I have never actually known anyone to own a Bama jersey. And with the exception of Croyle and Prothro you never see recent players (usually Namath, Stabler, etc.). I am very happy that UA has made few uni changes ever. I hated the houndstooth trim and I still hate those houndstooth baseball caps.
I wouldn't piss off the boys from Alabama . . .

"It's not that orange that you can sit with...
It’s that puke, inside of a pumpkin orange – and I hate pumpkins…”
Is it not true that their colors come from a patch of flowers? I just heard that somewhere, but have no idea if it’s true. Pansies perhaps?
I bleed crimson and white...I puke Vol puke orange. RTR

That is false
They claim the colors came from a flower that grew wild on “the hill.” A botany professor at UT has made it clear that no orange flower is native to east TN and could have not grown wild on campus. I do know they switched to that blaze orange crap strictly for black and white TV broadcasts. Sell outs.
