...that’s more like it. Nobody has ever or will ever sing like that man. Or ooze sexiness out of every pore. btw, any pic you want to put up before Elvis got fat would be prime beefcake material.
Off topic, any way to put a countdown clock(days, hours, minutes, seconds) widget to the side of the blog where it says next game? I think it would be cool.

....but the kind of widgetry magic it takes to make one is way beyond my computer skills.

I’m going to keep track of the days with the by-line of the blog.
It’s 41 days now… look at the very top of your browser and you will see it says, “41 days ‘til that curious Southern combination of eternal knighthood and childhood.” I’ll try to keep it updated.
As for a widget doing that, it’s way over my head.

That one is not from me. That one comes from Frank Deford, the long-time writer for SI, among other publications.
If you recall the movie “Everybody’s All-American,” Deford wrote the novel that the movie was based on.
