1. The act or an instance of speaking abusively to or about.
2. Sustained and severely abusive language.

The idea of viscious vituperation by the UCF coaching staff towards what players described as a "visibly struggling, gasping for breath and staggering" Ereck Plancher just before his fatal collapse is a sickening thought, and I agree that every program in the country should have their practice procedures scrutinized in order to make sure such avoidable tragedies never happen again.

It's just a game

I am really not one to say this often. I think I almost have a heart attack in all of our close games and my blood pressure is definitely dangerously elevated most every Saturday we play. Ultimately football is just a game and it is sad when things get out of hand, especially when someone loses their life (and this is not the first or the last time unfortunately).

I wouldn't piss off the boys from Alabama . . .
