I have no idea what I'm doing...

I've tried every trick I know and that has been suggested by others, but for some reason they just don't work in anything other than IE, so here's where you get to influence the blog. Is it annoying enough for me to go back to the old widget sans the profile pics, or should I just leave it alone and hope our readership is composed primarily of IE users?
UPDATE: Considering Pete Holiday's comment that the whole blog is getting jacked up, I went ahead and cut out all the extra code and moved the widget back to the left hand side. As far as I can tell everything looks right in IE, Firefox, and Opera, but if anyone is having trouble viewing anything let us know.

Just provide...
The player name, the star rating, and have the name linked to their profile.
I think your major problem now is that you just have too much shit trying to get it all compacted into a very tight space, and it’s just creating a ton of headaches. Just keep it a bit basic.

The only thing I hate about the new platform...
...is that some of the html code (mostly the tables stuff) that worked so well in the old system doesn’t work in this one, and you have to add in all kinds of new tags to get things to align in the posts now. Plus, it just pisses me off that something that works in one browser doesn’t in another.
It’s not as simple as “hope most of your users are IE users”... it’s not just ugly, it actually breaks the site. There’s a huge area of the page where the links aren’t clickable because they’re being covered by invisible portions of something that’s broken. This invariably includes some of the links to the post permalinks and comments.
Might as well fix it
If you believe MS, IE8 will be standards compliant so the widget will break for all users of IE8 as well
The Poll is compromised
The choices have reversed. Now “Make Pretty” means to add the pictures, while “Leave Alone” means keep the pictures off.
