"Sufficient" progress...
I believe that we’ll finish with a 8-4 record and win the bowl game, but I think that the team can turn heads and maybe start to take Alabama seriously if we finish 9-3 and win the bowl game. I also believe that we’re be in for a number of close games, just like the past couple of years, so that 8-4/9-3 could seem like a struggle.

Full disclosure...
...I voted 9-3 because I think there are nine winable games on the schedule. Honestly, though, if 8-4 means we won every game we should have (are favored in) and are competitive in the ones we shouldn’t, then that’s a huge step in the right direction.

Tak'in care of the ones we "should" win
I’d gladly take an 8-4 this season w/solid wins in games we’re favored. I live through a self-imposed 5-day media blackout everytime we blow one to the likes of a Louisiana-Monroe…I just can’t stand to read Finebaum and company when we lose those types of games. And for Pete’s sake…let’s beat MissStake this year. A win over AU, LSU, or Georgia would be SUPER..but let’s kick some butt when we’re expected to…I think that’s a big part of “the process”....
