awesome. I freaking love Dwight, what a wonderful song.

I’m a huge Dwight Yoakam fan. Back as a child, his Guitars, Cadillacs album was one of my favorite. You shoulda seen the look on some of my cousins faces when, after they put down a Culture Club album and it was my turn. . . .I drop some Dwight wax on the turntable!!! Priceless.

Besides, over here on the Left Coast- and even though Buck Owens and Dwight OWN Bakersfield (Bakersfield? Yeah, gee. Hard to explain that one)- some of these here CaliUrbanCowboys didn’t like anyone not named Garth or Clint. Dwight was a “persona non-grata” at most honky-tonks and backyard parties. Never knew why?

I love his music and I’m glad to see him shown some love here at RBR!
