Question about two Safety's

I was curious to know, has anyone heard anything about recent recruit Wes Neighbors, I haven't heard Saban comment on him or anything. Anyone think he would be in the running for Strong Safety, just curious to know!

Also, I was looking a the Fall Roster, and i noticed that 2007 Comitt, Chris Lett wasn't on there! i knew he had something wrong with him last summer and he didnt participate in summer camp.  I  might be way behind on things and something might of happened last summer and i never read up on it!

Anyways thanks for the info guys, Have a Blessed Week!!!

Safeties

Chris Lett if memory serves me correct was diagnosed with diabetes, and I think he was given a medical scholarship.

Neighbors has a lot of people in front of him, and I think his only chance of playing would be on special teams.

Agree

That is my understanding, as well.

Also, if what I have read is correct, if Neighbors is on the Bryant Scholarship, which he is eligible for, he would have to sit out two years to not count against the 85-man scholarship limit. Since he would most likely redshirt this year anyway, they may be looking at this as a possibility for him.

Thanks

Hey guys thank you so much! is it possible for Chris to still play! I played high school sports, and i played with alot of guys that had diabetes. May sound like dumb question but still just a little curious to know that. From what the recruiters were hyping him up to be, they said he would of really been good! just a few things to touch up on and all that, but he had the ability and the heart and the attitude to make a great player!

If he was

actually put on a medical scholarship, then no, he won’t be playing.
