Snake-Oil That Wasn't: Alabama's Roster
My first fanpost, so bear with my clumsy mimeography. It appears that AOL Fanhouse has itself an answer to Mr. B Cook of Poopypants Lane, Ann Arbor, MI. Pete Holiday has written an impassioned defense of The Saban, which has been followed, perhaps inevitably, by a series of moans and whines from the pro-Michigan, pro-Cook fanbase. They are still up in arms about how Saban obviously threw kids under the bus, despite no evidence to prove that assertion. Gentlemen, start your engines!
FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

in addition to that...
keep in mind that the three extra scholarships were given to walk on players recently. If Saban really got rid of those guys, then why doesn’t he hold those scholarships for some 4 and 5 star players for the next recruiting class?
Nice job, Pete
His only problem is trying to argue with Michigan fans with facts and reason. It’s like trying to explain to your wife why you have to change the oil in the car EVERY 3,000 miles — not just when the light thingy on the dashboard turns on. You either get that stare like a cow watching a passing train, … or you get a whiny, cry-baby temper tamptrum.

Hey, hey, hey!
Cars can go longer than 3,000 miles without an oil change, Buddy!

What I can't understand is
why all these Michigan people are so concerned about what is going on in Tuscaloosa. Do they still hate Saban for coaching at Michigan State? Why does it matter to them how we recruit and give out scholarships? I’ve really been scratching my head over this one after reading some of what that Cook douchebag has been writing.
That's the Rub
There is no logical reason for Cook or his Michigan lackies to be obsessed with Saban and Alabama. It all started with one article with undefensible assertions attacking Saban to divert negative attention from Rich Rod. Cook found out that he couldn’t just blast Alabama without a strong response, and the article was rebutted. When his predictions didn’t pan out, Cook couldn’t let it go and just piled on more assertions without a shred of evidence rather than concede the argument. His Michigan friends just piled on like sheep and there you have it. So I say Go Buckeyes (one week a year)!!!
