The RBR Friday Random Ten...
...is apparently too lazy to shuffle much outside of the "R" section of my iPod, considering I have 6 artists that start with "R," and two that start with "S." Weird. Anyway, for those of you who don't know how to play, take your iPod/Zune/whatever, put it on shuffle, then list the first ten songs that come up in the comments section. No cheating to make yours look cooler.
Ryan Adams - Burning Photographs
Rusted Root - Evil Ways
Rosanne Cash - The Winding Sream
Saves the Day - As Your Ghost Takes Flight
Roy Orbison - Working for the Man
Ryan Adams - Nuclear
Method Man - Problem
Ray Charles - The Love of Mine
Screaming Trees - Nearly Lost You
The Who - The Acid Queen

Oye!
Heard that Mr. Pervis Jackson (70), the bass vocalist for the badass group “The Spinners” past away on Monday 8/18. I know I’ve sang a grip of their tunes in my day. My mama was a big on The Spinners, apparently she sang “Then Came You” to me while I was an alien in her tummy?
Two sad passings from two wonderful lights.

I guess your’e the same that used to play at The Booth if I remember correctly. I probably saw you play at least once but I went to the Booth so much everything kinda runs together. DBT is coming to Baton Rouge on Sep 29th and I will certainly be in attendance. They will probably draw a lot bigger crowd in T-town, I don’t think that many people know who they are down here.

I don’t know if you’d know me by name, but I’m 99.9% sure you’d know my face. I’m friends with TJ, Rob, Jon, that whole crew. I don’t live in Tuscaloosa anymore (I’m in Birmingham), but when I was living down there that was who I mainly hung out with.
