5 Bold Predictions for 2008
In the
1) LSU will lose 3 conference games
2) Tennessee will finish fourth in the East
3) Kentucky will not go to a bowl game
4) Mississippi State will finish below Ole Miss in the West (read: Croom on hot seat again)
5) Georgia will claw their way to 9 wins en route to the Peach Bowl
Any more bold predictions? Disagree with any of these? And will any other coaches besides Sylvester be on the hot seat at the end of the year?

I got one
I say we beat Clemson next Saturday. We may very well lose, but I have a good feeling and I am not one to put unrealistic expectations on the season. I agree, 3 and 4 are very very possible.
I wouldn't piss off the boys from Alabama . . .
I
agree with all 5 points except for sly croom being on the hot seat. What reason would Miss State have to fire him. Who else is going to do any better there?
I only say that because
I can really picture State having another 4-5 win season. They had FAR too many “fluky” wins last year, and I don’t think the fans will see the “progress” in the program if that happens.

Agree with all
Except sly being on the hot seat, considering what he’s been threw at ms. st. i’d say he’s doing a good job. However one man who may be is Fulmer if your prediction about the viles comes true.
It's all about the process....
I got 5 bold predictions
1. Phil Fulmer gets run off rocky top
2. Miss Sate finishes Above Arkansas and below Ole Miss (Arkansas will have hard time with personale for Bobby’s system this year)
3. Alabama give the Barn the finger on their way out of T-Town
4. The National Championship game will be Nov 1 in Jacksonville
5. The winner of the SEC will have 2 losses and still play for NC and win it outright
Hell, no! A tie is like kissing your sister!
I hope 1 comes true,
and I whole heartedly agree with number 4, unfortunately.

Phil...
…is head coach until he leaves, or starts dipping below 8 wins every year. Which is fine by me, we have some score settling to do.
UGA
will win more than 9 cames and won’t have to scratch their way to it. I say at least 10-2, probably 11-1 with a loss to UF not us.

You're probably right.
I just get this uneasy feeling about Georgia. It seems to me that the momentum they had at the end of ‘07 just isn’t there after a turbulent off-season. Expectations can be a killer as well.
